Welcome to our website.

I started pod in 2005 after a health scare; whilst getting fit afterwards
I couldn’t find anywhere serving proper, natural food near work.

We're a new kind of food business, created by a group of people who are
genuinely passionate about what we're doing. Now, after four years of hard
work, there are five pods trading and three more opening in 2010. We're
pioneering a completely new kind of fast food and we care passionately
about five things :

  1. OUR FOOD. We use natural, meticulously sourced ingredients to make delicious, nutritious food.

  2. OUR PRINCIPLES. We want to build a business that we’re all proud of. So we embrace Fairtrade / low food miles / sustainable fishing / Rainforest Alliance / no additives, preservatives or colourings / seasonality and UK farms.

  3. OUR PEOPLE. Our passionate, committed team is the reason we’re growing so fast. Kate Skerritt is master of all things operational, Emma Blackmore is in charge of our delicious, healthy menu and Victoria Murray communicates everything we do to our growing number of fans. We also think that Ricardo, Maria and Justyna are the best outlet managers in London… but I guess we would say that!

  4. OUR PACKAGING. We serve our food in compostable packaging, nothing less, and we provide a composter in every pod. Right now it’s just us doing this, but we believe everybody should.

  5. OUR PODS. We build every pod from sustainable or recycled materials. We use recycled glass, sustainably forested oak timber, recycled floor tiles, recycled furniture, organic paint and lots more.
